We started Shopmoname because finding genuinely effective skincare should not require a chemistry degree or hours of label reading.
In 2018, our founder spent a year living in Seoul. The skincare culture there was eye-opening: affordable products with thoughtful formulations, minimal packaging waste, and ingredient lists that actually made sense.
Back home, the same quality was hard to find without paying luxury markups. Shopmoname launched to bridge that gap. We partner directly with Korean labs to bring their best formulas to a wider audience at fair prices.
Every product page lists the full INCI ingredient list alongside plain-language explanations. No hidden fragrance blends or vague "proprietary complexes."
Our small team tests each product for a minimum of four weeks before listing it. We track texture, absorption time, breakouts, and visible results.
We exclude products containing parabens, synthetic dyes, mineral oil, and high-concentration denatured alcohol. Fragrance is always naturally derived.
We prioritise brands that use recyclable packaging and refill systems. Where possible, shipments arrive in compostable mailers rather than plastic-lined boxes.
It is not perfect yet, but we publish an annual sustainability report that tracks our progress and sets honest goals for the year ahead.
